The Gay Metropolis by Charles Kaiser

I have a neighbourhood coffeeshop, and my neighbourhood coffeeshop has a community bookshelf, and that community bookshelf is surprisingly fruitful on occasion – including in this case, when it delivered a volume titled The Gay Metropolis, which I am in turn going to pass on to my pal Scott, who occasionally writes papers about the gay experience. Maybe it’s useful and maybe it’s not! Aren’t books great?
