Thirteen Ways of Looking at CanLit by Rachel Rose

I’ve been trying to track down this tiny, poetic volume in a library for months and having absolutely no luck. Public library? Nope. University library? Nope. Even interlibrary loan let me down.

Finally, I figured out why: it’s handsome, and it’s well-written, and it’s interesting, but it’s more of a chapbook than a book, and libraries tend to avoid adding staple-bound volumes to their collections.

But the upside is you can order a copy of your very own from BookThug for $10, and if that’s not just good money sense, then I don’t know what it is! Why, that’s less than my outstanding library fines!*

*Which are currently sitting at $38. I’m a garbage human who never returns their books on time.
